The BC-VBP is the Provincial Delivery Agent (PDA) for the national on-farm food safety program Verified Beef Production program, which is owned by the Canadian Cattlemen's Association. The management of VBP in BC is through the BC-VBP Management Group which is composed of representation from 3 BC cattle associations, resource people and staff:
BC Cattlemen's Association (BCCA): Kevin Boon, General Manager, BCCA; Larry Garrett; and, Harold Starr, Riocene Ranch
- Lindy Gilson, Bear Valley Ranch and Acting President BCBFA
