Registered Producers
A registered VBP operation is an operation that has:
- Attended a training workshop to learn about the program;
- Implemented the required components of the program (greyed items in the manual);
- Is keeping a clear record keeping system; and,
- Successfully completed an on-farm audit, demonstrating to a third party auditor that the program requirements have been met.
To date over 660 producers and agri-business representatives have attended a workshop, with several producers currently preparing for a registration audit.
Since the program began in 2005, 93 operations have undergone the registration process.
Below is the the current list of those actively registered under this nationally recognized on-farm food safety program.
