“The Verified Beef Program helped us in a big way as it was one of the protocols that we needed to have in place to enable us to join Prairie Heritage Beef Producers. We are one of three B.C. ranches that were invited to join the producer group that spans the four western provinces. The group is growing along with the demand and we are hopeful that we will be paid better than commodity price in most years. It is great to be part of something that is so positive, environmentally and ecologically sound along with opportunities to be profitable as well. (April 2009)
